This role requires hands-on equipment experience operating a forklift and ideally pole lift operation. This role requires independent judgment in production cutting, load handling, and prioritizing distribution tasks to meet daily goals. This person will work closely with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.Operate production cutting equipment safely and accurately to prepare materials for distribution, ensuring specifications and quality standards are metOperate forklifts (including pole lift attachments), order pickers, and pallet jacks to move, stage, and load/unload materialsReceive incoming shipments of materials and products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepanciesAccurately record and label received and cut items, organizing them in designated storage locationsRetrieve, cut, and pack materials for customer/branch orders according to picking lists and packing instructionsPrepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely, labeling with shipping information, and coordinating carrier pickup or deliveryPerform regular inventory and cycle counts to maintain accurate records and identify discrepanciesAssist with inventory replenishment by restocking and picking materials as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe production and warehouse environmentFollow all safety protocols related to cutting equipment, forklift/pole lift operation, and general warehouse safetyCollaborate with warehouse team members and department supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production and distribution goalsProvide guidance or informal support to less-experienced warehouse staff as neededPerform other duties as assigned by warehouse management or supervisory staffHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferredForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus; pole lift/attachment experience strongly preferredBasic math and computer skills, including the ability to use inventory management software and handheld devicesPhysical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basisAttention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, labeling, and recording inventoryStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and proceduresAll offers of employment are contingent upon a drug panel and a background checkValid Driver's License is requiredYour information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines
