Construction Inspector (Roads & Bridges) - Transportation

Essential Job Duties:

Conduct and document observations of construction progress for civil projects such as roadways, highways, bridges, and overpasses.

Collaborate with field representatives or Project Managers.

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts.

Provide guidance to less-experienced field staff as needed.

Perform other duties as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent, Technical school or Associate degree.

Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting civil infrastructure projects for transit, roads, highways, bridges, and overpasses.

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pass required drug‑screening procedures, subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing.

Commitment to an employee‑owned culture.

Relevant industry certifications.

Ability to interpret construction schedules.
