The Royal Automotive Group has a wide array of Technician/Mechanic roles available within our multiple Tucson locations. We base our hiring decisions on each specific applicant's skill set, personality, and where a candidate will fit best. The Reconditioning technician is responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing used vehicles as assigned by the Reconditioning team. The primary focus is to identify and repair safety and drivability issues on used vehicles before they are sold to customers.

Responsibilities Conduct a thorough inspection on used vehicles, accurately documenting mechanical, electrical, or performance issues.

Expertly diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing

Maintains an increasingly broad knowledge of how vehicles' complex components work and interact

Maintains leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials

Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old

Must be able to perform the physical duties associated with this position

Must have at least 3 years experience and/ or training

Post high school tech school or ASE certification desired

Must have an impressive work-ethic

Neat, clean, and professional appearance

Must have an unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record

Must be able to operate a standard-transmission vehicle
