Data Analyst

Seeking a Data Analyst with experience in SQL, scripting, data analysis, and Power BI

This role will analyze complex data, develop dashboards and reports, automate recurring processes, and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions

Banking/Financial Services industry experience is preferred

This position is Remote

Responsibilities:

Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including DAX and Power Query

Use Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to automate data and reporting processes

Validate data quality and troubleshoot reporting or data issues

Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, KPIs, and reporting needs

Clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting

Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI

Experience with Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business teams

Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, or cloud data platforms

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or related technologies

Experience with Git or other version-control tools

Banking/Financial Services industry experience is preferred

Business Systems Analysis (BSA) experience is a plus

Experience with ThoughtSpot is a plus
