Required Skills & Qualifications

Candidates must have 5 years of relevant development experience with strong hands-on experience in Python and PySpark .

Experience with Legacy code and solid exposure to modernizing projects .

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent working experience.

5 years of experience in delivering solutions using Software Development Life Cycle.

5 years' experience in delivering Data Engineering solutions using Python, PySpark and AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Data Lake, Delta Lake) .

3 years' experience working with complex SQL queries and Unix environment.

Ability to lead a team of junior developers.

Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.

Knowledge of Big Data tools and applications.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop scalable and reliable data solutions to move data across systems from multiple sources in real time as well as batch modes.

Identify and deliver innovative and automation solutions in the areas of data engineering including technology implementations using Agile construct.

Support residual legacy applications while implementing modern cloud solutions.

Understand business and establish strong partnership with stakeholders including Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

Quickly learn new and legacy technologies and paradigms to deploy cutting-edge solutions.

Support applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancements.

Provide production support and clear communication on the resolution of incidents.
