Join us in the journey of creating moments worth remembering and sharing.What You'll DoDeliver drink orders according to appropriate TGA guidelines to each guest and cocktail server in a timely and efficient mannerMake all guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them. Know regular guests by nameKnow the brands of beer, wine and liquor offered for consumption, as well as the ingredients to the most asked cocktails, the garnishes they require, the proper glassware, and priceInform guests of specialty drinks and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoyReceive and understand beverage orders and repeat them to the guests and/or servers and enter orders in the point-of-sale systemMaintain cash bank and follow established cash handling proceduresContinuously watch for signs of intoxication and practice all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulationsPerform side work at the start and end of each shift as requiredAlways maintain a clean and safe work area, free from dirty glassware, plastic cups, beer bottlesPerform and document physical inventory counts at direction of General Manager or Restaurant ManagerPrepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)Participate in proactive communication to help avoid and solve operational, HR, and financial issuesBe available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorQualificationsMinimum of 2+ years like volume bartending experienceMust be of legal age to serve alcoholServsafe and Tips certifiedMust be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplaceMust have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a teamMust possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale systemMust be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)Must be able to safely lift up to 25 poundsMust be able to work on holidays and/or weekendThe Global Ambassador is an Equal Opportunity & E-Verify Employer.
