Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research and we are searching for a Finance Manager to join our incredible team! This position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department functions and staff with a focus on ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.

What will you do? Provides direction and leadership to the accounting department.

Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions.

Manage general ledger review and prepare month end entries, allocation and financial reports.

Assists with annual audits. (401K & Work Comp).

Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.

Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.

Researches issues and concerns with minimal supervision.

Communicates clearly and collaboratively with employees, patients and vendors providing excellent customer service.

Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however experience will be taken into consideration.

Three years accounts payable experience preferred.

Healthcare experience is preferred.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization.
