A well-established General Contractor based in North Carolina is looking for an experienced

Construction Superintendent

to join their team and lead a

large-scale ground-up K-12 project in Charlotte, NC . This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent with a strong background in

K-12 construction

who is comfortable taking ownership of a major project and coordinating subcontractors, trades, schedules, safety, and quality from the field. Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day field operations on a large-scale ground-up K-12 project. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and onsite trade partners. Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are met. Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship. Coordinate inspections, deliveries, site logistics, and sequencing. Conduct regular site meetings and communicate progress with the Project Manager and leadership team. Enforce all site safety requirements and maintain a safe working environment. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Identify and resolve field issues quickly and effectively. Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Requirements

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent. Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor management. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership and communication skills. OSHA 30 preferred. Ability to take ownership of a major project and drive it through successful completion. $125,000 – $150,000 base salary , depending on experience. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work with an established North Carolina General Contractor on a significant K-12 project in the Charlotte market.
