Mechanical Engineer

We are an MEPfirmwith engineers who hold professional licenses in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering, enabling us to cover a wide range of engineering design services and giving the clients the benefit ofutilizingour services for all their MEP engineering design needs.

Our design services provide construction drawings, equipment schedules, legends, details, and CSI specifications for Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing design in compliance with local building codes, suitable topermit, bid and construct the project.

Our company is a new breed of engineering, combining theexpertiseof engineers with over 40 years of experience in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design field, along with a new generation of computer trained engineers who are highly skilled in REVIT 3-D modeling software. Our engineers provide design services for an array of building types, always keeping sustainability and durability at the forefront.

We are currently looking for a Mechanicaldesign Engineer to perform the following:

Use Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit to design HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Perform calculations to size HVAC equipment, air distribution system, and ducting systems per mechanical codes.

Perform HVAC load calcs.

Design parking garage, corridor, and equipment roof ventilation.

Coordinate with owner, architect, and other trades as needed.

Prepare mechanical equipment schedules.

Obtain permits from local building and safety by coordinating with plan checkers and attending verification meetings.

Respond to RFI’s and submittals during construction administration phase.

Attend field site visits as needed.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Engineering

- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, experience with REVIT preferred

- Good leadership and communication skills

- Works well with others and able to work in project teams

- Able to complete work in a timely manner and meet client deadlines

- Excellent customer service and motivated to help our clients
