T he firm is looking for a Modern Data Architect. S omeone who has come up through the engineering trenches, understands how things are actually built and now operates at the architectural level. The distinction between a senior data engineer and a true architect matters here.S n owflake sits at the center of the firm's data platform, with a wider modern toolset plugging into it. Your job is to look across all of it, understand how the pieces fit together, and build an architecture that gives the business a unified, governed, AI-ready data u will be working directly with commercial stakeholders, holding major consulting partners accountable and partnering with vendors including Snowflake, dbt, Five Tran, Palantir and others to shape the direction of the should have a strong point of view on data governance, master data management (MDM) and semantic layers - not just the technical mechanisms, but the business context behind them.An u n derstanding of modern architectural principles like API's, microservices and domain-driven design is expected. Experience with AI is welcome. A background in private equity, asset management, buy-side finance or professional services is preferred.Knowl e dge of and hands-on experience with modern data architecture concepts and methodologies, including Data Vault, Data Mart, Date Lakehouse, Data Wall and Data Warehouse frameworks, is essential for this role.No up- t o-date resume required.**This r ole is based four days a week in office in either Washington D.C. or Midtown, New York**
