We support our teams, work closely with our customers, and hold ourselves accountable for quality, safety, and integrity in everything we do.RequirementsWe are searching for a candidate with:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 10 years of experience in real-time embedded software engineeringStrong experience with C and C++ programmingExperience with embedded real-time operating systemsStrong embedded firmware development and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with revision control systems such as GitExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervisionExperience leading small projects and mentoring team membersPreferred Qualifications:Elevator industry experience and knowledge of elevator control systemsExperience with low-level device driversExperience with scripting tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Make/CygwinExperience with C#, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSAbility to develop creative and strategic solutions to complex technical challengesDuties and ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, modifying, and maintaining embedded software using C and C++Troubleshooting and debugging software and electronic hardware systemsCollaborating with Field Service, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issuesWorking closely with electrical and mechanical engineering teams throughout product developmentPerforming functional testing of software updates and enhancementsDocumenting software functionality and system behaviorMentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidanceSupporting the development and continuous improvement of coding standards, engineering best practices, and design processesParticipating in on-site testing and troubleshooting as neededPerforming additional duties and special projects as assignedBenefits of Working With UsThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $143,000–$170,000 annually.
