Position Overview
PCI Pharma is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support and enhance its enterprise network infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions across a growing environment, with a strong focus on wireless, security, and routing technologies.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can independently lead technical initiatives while also supporting day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead network-related projects from concept through execution with minimal supervision
Configure, manage, and support Cisco wireless environments , including:
Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
Access point deployment and wireless policy configuration
Administer and secure network firewalls , including:
Firepower Management Center (FMC)
Support identity and security platforms , including:
Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
Design, implement, and maintain switching and routing infrastructure
Support dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
Perform advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis across complex environments
Install, rack, and configure network hardware including switches, access points, and related infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, performance, and scalability
Required Skills & Experience
4–7+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience
Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies
Proven experience working with:
Deep understanding of:
Switching and routing concepts
Protocols such as OSPF and BGP
Demonstrated ability to own and lead projects independently
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly
Experience working in on‑site environments and supporting physical network infrastructure
Ability to rack, stack, and deploy network equipment
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments
Exposure to global or multi‑site network environments
Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools
Knowledge of security best practices and network hardening
