Database Administrator (TS/SCI w/Poly)

Database AdministratorParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Database Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to operate as part of an integrated IT lifecycle team sustaining complex cyber system for the Federal client.What You'll Be Doing:Administer and maintain databases and data management systems that by directing or performing all related activities to keep the data secureImplement and enforce approved Data Management Standards that support the timely and efficient compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data from databasesResolve database and server issuesApply cybersecurity knowledge to configure IT equipment to proper security standardsTest systems and resolve security vulnerabilitiesDetermining appropriate IT policies, while creating and improving upon system documentationInteract with and assist customers from various parts of USCYBERCOMRequired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI w/Poly5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, Systems Engineer, or Cybersecurity RoleBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Databases, Cybersecurity, or related discipline; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeActive DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification or higher (ex: CCNA Security, CySA +, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)Desired Qualifications :Master's degree and 3+ years of experienceExposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), and/or STIGs/IAVAA problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solutionHas, or is willing to gain, more diverse IT skills, including Windows/Linux, networking, and moreAble to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineeringSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00We value our employees and want our employees to take care of their overall wellbeing, which is why we offer best-in-class benefits such as medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), life insurance, flexible work schedules, and holidays to fit your busy lifestyle!Parsons is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status or any other protected status.
