MAC Server Administration

Job Description

Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.

Typically requires 5+ years of experience.

Proven experience as Server Administrator.

Proficient in Server configuration and scripting.

Knowledge of Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf and other server access & security profile configuration.

Extensive experience with MacOS Servers & knowledge of Server Virtualization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage Mac Server administration tasks and maintain servers up to date in compliance with Security Controls and compliance.

Hands‑on managing MacOS Servers and their patching schedules in a Data Center Environment.

Solid understanding of Server Administration concepts.

Familiar with MacOS Server scripting and automation of software patch installations and security software updates.

Collaborate with the MacSupport Team to understand Server Management plan in a DC.

Ensure servers are running up to security software and OS standards.

Solid knowledge of DHCP, Server IP configuration and ability to resolve network identification/IP conflicts.

Knowledge of Managed OS and software packaging and installation.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 a year.
