SUMMARY

The Driver will be responsible for delivering and unloading product to the customer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loading and unloading orders using a hand truck
• Greet customer, maintain professional relationship, and provide excellent customer service
• Close and lock all bays when not in use and keep keys in your possession while servicing the account
• Have invoice signed by customer for proof of delivery
• Complete all scheduled deliveries in an efficient manner
• Communicate with management regarding any delivery issues
• Safely operate a company owned delivery truck
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
• Performs other related duties assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent attendance record
• 2 to 3 years driving experience
• Forklift certification or recent experience
• Valid in‑state driver's license
• Must have a good driving record (no more than 2 violations in 5 years)
• Ability to safely lift and carry packages of various shapes, sizes, and weight
• Ability to logistically plan routes
• Ability to safely lift, push and pull 50 pounds or more
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude a must

DESIRED

• Class A Driver’s License
• Experience in loading/unloading
• Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
