As Trident Consulting seeks a Assembler - Mechanical III for a client in Houston, TX over a 12+ month duration on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities

Perform disassembly, inspection, reassembly of rotating equipment, including gas turbine units and centrifugal compressors from multiple OEMs.

Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspections of rotating equipment.

Assist in repairing and modifying non‑conforming equipment with minimal instruction.

Use hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tooling and precision measuring equipment (ID/OD/Depth micrometers, calipers).

Follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair under time constraints.

Provide on‑site support as needed.

Collaborate with team members, ensuring high quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of overhaul and repair experience in GE10, PGT 10/PGT 25, or Frame 3/Frame 5 areas.

Good knowledge of HSE requirements and ability to comply with safety policies.

Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to interpret complex machining or assembly drawings.
