Job Description

We Search People are working with a well-established custom home builder in Elkton, MD. They are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee high-quality, one-of-a-kind residential builds from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, organization, and delivering exceptional custom homes.

Responsibilities Oversee all phases of custom home construction from site prep through final punch-out

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, schedules, and inspections

Ensure work meets plans, specifications, budgets, and high-quality standards

Maintain daily site supervision, safety compliance, and progress reporting

Communicate effectively with owners, architects, and project managers

Manage material deliveries, change orders, and jobsite logistics

Requirements Proven experience as a Superintendent on custom residential homes

Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and local building codes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

OSHA certification preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
