The role covers the full stack—from shop-floor edge applications and industrial data collection to cloud services, backend APIs, databases, and front-end user interfaces.Full-Stack & Backend: Build responsive UIs for plant operators and supervisors; design RESTful APIs, microservices, business logic, and database integrations (relational/non-relational).Edge & Industrial Integration: Develop edge applications for plant-floor PCs, gateways, and devices; interface with equipment, sensors, and systems (MES/MOM, SCADA, ERP, PLM).Cloud & DevOps: Support multi-plant cloud architectures, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and maintain CI/CD pipelines.Collaboration & Gemba: Participate in Gemba walks and work directly with manufacturing engineers, IT/OT teams, and plant personnel.Custom Skills Required (EXPERT/ADVANCED/NONE)Rank - Custom Skill Requirement1 - Software development experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial automation, or discrete manufacturing2 - Experience developing both front-end and backend applications (Full-Stack)3 - Full-stack development with edge, cloud, and industrial system connectivityQualifying QuestionsDo you have significant software-development experience in automotive manufacturing, industrial automation, or discrete manufacturing?
