Role: Microservices Architect (Java)
Location: Santa Clara / San Jose, CA
Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week)
Position Overview
We are looking for a Microservices Architect with strong Java expertise to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native applications. This role requires hands-on architecture experience and the ability to guide engineering teams in building distributed systems.
Responsibilities Design and implement microservices-based architecture
Define architecture standards, best practices, and design patterns
Lead technical discussions and mentor development teams
Build and optimize services using Java and Spring Boot
Drive API strategy, integration, and performance optimization
Work closely with DevOps on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment
Ensure system scalability, security, and reliability
Required Qualifications 10+ years of software development experience
Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Spring Boot
Proven experience designing microservices and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Experience with event-driven architecture
Familiarity with service mesh and observability tools
