Part-Time Retail Sales Associate Location: Encinitas, CA | Hours: 20-30 hours/week | Pay: Starting at $18/hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

Deliver an outstanding customer experience by being friendly, helpful, and engaging Learn and share product knowledge to guide customer purchases

Cashier and handle transactions using our Shopify POS system

Assist customers in returns and exchanges ensuring in the best possible customer experience

Gift-wrap purchases with care and creativity

Maintain store appearance: straighten, fold, restock, merchandise, and create displays

Assist with inventory, including receiving and unpacking new shipment

Help meet daily sales goals and contribute to team success

Complete daily tasks including cleaning, opening, and closing duties

Work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

Be a positive and dependable team member who takes initiative

Must Haves

High school graduate or over 18

1+ year of customer service experience (retail strongly preferred)

Experience using a Shopify POS system

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively

A flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays

Reliable transportation

Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs

Strong communication and organizational skills

Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic

Are supportive of colleagues, going out of your way to help others on the team and showing them kindness

Quick learner with a basic understanding of technology and willingness to grow

Bonus Points For...

Experience in fashion, styling, or visual merchandising

Sales or marketing experience

Familiarity with social media and/or small business operations
