Accounting Assistant

Julian & Grube is seeking a highly motivated accounting assistant to join our administrative team. This person is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks within an office setting to support daily operations.

Accounting Support: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records for governmental clients.

Prepare and post journal entries to client trial balances

Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and audit engagements.

Verify mathematical accuracy of accounting records and reports.

Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Time management skills to prioritize and complete a side variety of tasks throughout the day

Strong org anizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at once.

Ability to problem solve and work independently

Experience using Word and Excel.

Capability to communicate well with management and others.

Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.
