Job Description

Plaid is seeking a Staff Software Engineer on Data Governance to set technical direction for enforcing data governance at scale. You’ll design distributed backend systems that delete, restrict, and track data across services, and stay hands-on in critical code paths. You will partner with Legal, Privacy, Security, and product-engineering teams to turn regulatory obligations into auditable controls, mentor engineers, and drive multi-quarter cross-team initiatives from requirements to shipped
