Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines

  • and equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Dismantle machinery and equipment, locate cause of malfunctioning or

  • mechanical breakdown, replace parts from sock or fabricate replacement

  • parts as needed Fabricate machine components for repairs and

  • improvements of mechanical devices Effectively conduct and assess

  • diagnostic tests to ensure optimum system functionality Assemble,

  • install, and proactively maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and

  • equipment for efficient operation Operate arc welder, cutting torch,

  • hand tools, and forklift Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as needed

  • Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain

  • a clean work area Work may consist of various shifts and overtime

  • including weekends and holidays during busy production times *****


OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • 2 years' recent verifiable related

  • work history or equivalent education Proficient in welding, cutting, and

  • using hand tools for repairs Experience using motor control circuits,

  • 480 volt 3-phase AC/DC motors, starters, electrical, and hydraulic

  • systems Working knowledge of pneumatics, pumps, motors, gearboxes,

  • conveyors, and bearings Proven experience using forklift, man lift, and

  • most rigging equipment Ability to recognize, report, and repair

  • mechanical defects Industrial mill maintenance experience is a plus
