Controls Engineer (PLC / Instrumentation)Seeking a Controls Engineer with Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) experience to support high-tech semiconductor facility projects. This role focuses on tool installation, PLC systems, and facility control systems within a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering oversight during installation of semiconductor manufacturing equipmentReview and support PLC, instrumentation, and control system designsWork with systems including fire alarm systems, chemical control systems, and Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM) systemsDevelop and review technical specifications and design documentsReview vendor submittals for compliance with project requirements and codesCoordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and vendorsSupport final system integration and installation activitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (ABET preferred)5+ years of experience with industrial control systems / PLCsExperience with instrumentation, controls, and system integrationKnowledge of IFC (International Fire Code), IMC (International Mechanical Code), UL and IEEE standardsExperience reviewing technical designs and vendor documentationStrong communication and coordination skillsPreferredEIT or PE licenseExperience in semiconductor or cleanroom environmentsField experience working with construction teams or subcontractorsFamiliarity with AutoCAD or RevitExperience with facility systems, process controls, or TGM systems
