FCSD Tech delivers world-class software for dealers, customers, and the Ford enterprise, offering comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and service capabilities for a full portfolio of electrified, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles globally.Required Skills & Qualifications5 years of experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, React.js / Angular3 years of experience with modern databases (relational and non-relational)2 years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and AzureExperience in continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as Tekton, Jenkins, Terraform, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Apigee XExperience collaborating with engineers, designers, and product ownersExcellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audiencePrior work experience at a client or in the client's industryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2Preferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with JIRA, backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile toolsDeep understanding of Object-Oriented Design PrinciplesFamiliarity with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesServe as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops web services, webpages, APIs, and microservicesCollaborate with other product teams on integrations, testing, and deploymentsTranslate business requirements into detailed specificationsEnsure software engineering excellence by adhering to best practices and quality standards within the product teamInnovate and operate with an iterative, agile, and user-centric perspectiveClearly communicate with team members and internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrate software engineering excellence through active coding, pairing, and performing code and architecture reviews
