This individual will be a hands-on leader who is comfortable working within Sage 300, actively managing day-to-day accounting operations, and driving process improvements that support continued growth and scalability.What You'll Do: Lead the monthly financial close and reporting process across multiple entitiesManage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionalsOversee and optimize the use of Sage 300, including job costing, WIP, and prevailing wage payrollPartner with project managers and operations leaders to improve estimate-to-actual tracking and real-time job cost visibilityPrepare and review work-in-progress (WIP) schedules and ensure accurate revenue recognitionImprove cash management, forecasting, and internal financial controlsSupport the transition to a more paperless and automated accounting environmentCoordinate and support audited financial statements and external auditsImplement improved cost controls and procurement processes within a cost-plus modelServe as a trusted financial advisor during a period of leadership transition and xhyhwjd growthWhat You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldSignificant experience in construction accounting, preferably within a subcontractor environmentPrior experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting leadership roleStrong working knowledge of Sage 300 or similar ERPConstruction job costing experience strongly preferredExperience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactionsComfort operating in both strategic and hands-on capacitiesAbility to collaborate effectively with project managers and operational leadersExperience working in audited financial environments
