Our capabilities include IT Talent Solutions, Data Delivery & Analytics, Cyber Security, Cloud Migration, Applications and Infrastructure, Software Development, and Finance & Accounting.M9 Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Sunnyvale, CA. An active Secret clearance is required.ResponsibilitiesMaintain the digital ecosystem across production and testing environments, ensuring all systems remain efficient, secure, and reliable.System Administration (Linux/UNIX, Windows, embedded hardware) – deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and support disaster recovery (NetBackup/Veeam).Storage Management – install, secure, and monitor NetApp or other NAS/SAN solutions.Cyber Compliance – apply STIGs, manage patches/upgrades, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMF-based compliance.Change & Asset Management – execute changes using change management tools and keep asset inventories up to date.Operational Support – work onsite during day shift business hours; provide after hours support when critical operations demand it.Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing – lead technical best practice discussions, mentor peers, and coordinate with functional teams to resolve issues.Required Skills and QualificationsActive Secret security clearance.Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.Current Security+ certification.Salary Range $100,000 - $190,000 USD
