Operations Manager

Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to lead a team of field supervisors and technicians responsible for service and repair operations throughout the Albuquerque market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with leadership experience in industries such as HVAC, electrical, fire protection, building systems, industrial maintenance, mechanical services, or other field service environments.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of field supervisors and technicians.

Drive a strong safety culture through regular jobsite visits, audits, and employee coaching.

Spend time in the field supporting technicians, meeting with customers, and ensuring quality service delivery.

Monitor service performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Partner with the sales team by providing technical insight, estimating labor and materials, and supporting repair opportunities.

Manage operational metrics including callbacks, route efficiency, scheduling, and overall profitability.

Work closely with customers to resolve service issues and maintain long-term relationships.

Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and company standards.

Help manage inventory, parts, and resources to support daily operations.

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a variety of service‑based industries, including: HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Mechanical Contracting, Building Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Services, or other related field service industries.

Ideal candidates will have:

Experience leading field service, operations, maintenance, or repair teams.

A strong focus on safety, customer service, and operational excellence.

Experience managing technicians, supervisors, or field employees.

The ability to prioritize multiple projects while making sound business decisions.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Equivalent leadership and operational experience will also be considered.
