Join this team, and you'll collaborate with engineers across Apple to build and deploy forward-looking prototype systems that contribute to the development of our world-renowned hardware and software architecture.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with internal customers to understand their requirements and workflows and propose new features and ecosystem changes to streamline their experience using the platform.Share ownership of the team's codebase, service architecture, tools, and developer experience and maintain a high-quality bar to ensure optimal development velocity.Work independently and lead deliverables to different teams.Develop and deploy applied AI solutions to increase engineering productivity.Occasional travel to development groups in the US and overseas.Minimum QualificationsBS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.Experience with programming (Go, Swift or C++) and scripting (e.g. Python, Bash).Experience debugging complex systems.Experience using AI Agents or LLMs in software development.Preferred Qualifications10+ years of relevant industry experienceUnderstanding and practical experience with HTTP, DNS, RPC frameworks, databases, and operating systems.Good understanding of Cloud security concepts, plus knowledge of Authentication/Authorization frameworks and tools.Knowledge of containers (Docker, Podman, Apple Container)Excellent communication, analytical and documentation skills.Experience training neural networks for custom applications.Exposure to Silicon workflows.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
