Job Description

Industrial Maintenance TechnicianThis role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining factory and plant machinery to ensure production lines operate safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will support continuous operations by diagnosing issues quickly, performing preventive maintenance, and helping to optimize equipment performance across the facility.Responsibilities:Install factory and plant machinery and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.Repair and replace faulty components, parts, and assemblies on industrial machinery and support systems.Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure safe and reliable performance.Inspect machinery regularly to identify potential problems and recommend corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications.Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance and support continuous improvement of equipment performance.Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on electrical and mechanical systems in the plant.Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting methods to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.Support efforts to keep the facility's machinery compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements.Essential Skills:Demonstrated experience installing industrial factory and plant machinery.Strong electrical skills with the ability to work safely on industrial electrical systems.Proven troubleshooting abilities for both mechanical and electrical equipment issues.Hands-on experience performing repairs on production line machinery and related systems.Ability to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment.Understanding of safety practices and procedures in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Capability to read and interpret technical information related to machinery and equipment.Attention to detail and accuracy when diagnosing problems and documenting maintenance work.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience working as a maintenance technician in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant environment.Familiarity with common maintenance tools, test instruments, and diagnostic equipment.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with production and operations teams.Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.Good communication skills to report findings, explain repairs, and coordinate maintenance activities.Why Work Here?You will join a production-focused environment where your technical skills directly contribute to safe, efficient operations. Work may involve standing for extended periods, working in proximity to moving machinery, and responding to equipment issues as they arise during production.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paris, KY.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
