JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for work on design, development, and support of customized, scalable enterprise software applications for commercial and financial services clients operating in secure, data-driven environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize secure system architecture, third-party integrations, cloud-based deployment, performance optimization, and continuous production support.

Contribute to active production systems and participate across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and post-release support.

Implementation of application security controls, data protection, and performance optimization.

Support reporting systems, dashboards, and data-driven business tools to improve scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Coordinate integrations across multiple systems using build tools, package managers, and service-based architectures.

Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into technical design documentation and tested software solutions.

Perform system design, functional validation, regression testing, load testing, usability testing, and impact analysis across database and application layers.

Develop, enhance, and integrate third-party enterprise platforms, identity verification services, customer-relationship systems, and data-warehouse solutions.

Support secure cloud infrastructure environments, including production and staging deployments, monitoring, and maintenance.

Contribute to service-layer development, search functionality, and scalable application framework design in coordination with solution architects.

Support applications hosted in cloud computing environments utilizing virtual servers, object storage, and distributed services.

Provide technical support, troubleshoot defects, resolve bugs, and assist with urgent production releases when required.

Prepare and execute test plans, risk mitigation strategies, and defect-tracking processes to ensure system stability and reliability.

Evaluate testing and bug-tracking tools and implement secure data handling, encryption, and protection mechanisms within application architecture.

Work with Java-based frameworks, modern JavaScript frameworks, and full-stack web development tools.

Work with build and dependency management tools, package managers, and module bundlers.

Use RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, and third-party system integrations.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including document-oriented data stores.

Work with Cloud platforms and services for computers, storage, deployment, and monitoring.

Utilize secure coding, encryption methods, authentication systems, and data protection practices.

Work with testing frameworks, defect tracking systems, and performance monitoring tools.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and three (3) years of relevant experience in software development, including experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining live client facing production applications; integrating external APIs, cloud services, and database driven components; implementing application security controls, data protection measures, and performance optimization techniques; supporting enterprise environments in which downtime or vulnerabilities create contractual, financial, or operational risk; participating in scalable system architecture design, troubleshooting, and technical support; and collaborating with cross functional engineering, infrastructure, and business teams, with these qualifications reflecting standard minimum requirements not tailored to any individual, and with architecting, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software systems using industry standard languages, frameworks, cloud platforms, and integration technologies to simulate and optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency.
