Job Description Senior Software Engineer \n Engagement: Contract-to-Hire (only W2) \n Location: San Jose CA 3-day Hybrid \n \n About the Role \n Looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and Python experience who has built and operated AWS-based microservices and worked within an AI-enabled software development lifecycle . The role involves integrating AI/ML capabilities into production applications. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Design and develop scalable backend microservices using Java and Python on AWS. \n Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines , automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and rollback. \n Design distributed systems and well-structured APIs. \n Integrate LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and AI/ML APIs into production systems. \n Manage AWS services including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and monitoring. \n Collaborate with Product, ML, and Platform teams. \n \n \n Required Skills \n \n 9 years of software engineering experience. \n Strong hands-on experience with Java Python (Spring Boot, FastAPI/Flask). \n Production experience with microservices and distributed systems . \n Strong AWS experience – EKS/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, IAM. \n Hands-on CI/CD IaC – Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/AWS CodePipeline, Terraform/CloudFormation. \n Production experience integrating AI/LLM technologies – OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, RAG, vector databases, embeddings. \n Strong knowledge of API design, testing, observability, and security . \n \n \n Nice to Have \n \n Kubernetes, Kafka/Kinesis, agentic AI, prompt engineering, MLOps, MLflow/SageMaker. \n JVM/Python performance tuning at scale. \n \naa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
