Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember (13M)

Overview

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and as a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS/HIMARS) Crewmember (13M). You’ll maintain and operate the MLRS and the high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS). You’ll launch missiles and munitions to support battlefield success. This role also supports infantry and tank units while supplementing cannon artillery units. This is not a civilian contractor position.

No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the MLRS and HIMARS systems.
• Launch missiles and munitions in quick strikes to support battlefield objectives.
• Support infantry and tank units and supplement cannon artillery units.

Requirements

• A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
• 17 to 34 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet tattoo guidelines
• No major law violations
• No medical concerns

Testing & Certifications

• 41 nationally recognized certifications available
• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• 83 ASVAB score: Operators & Food (OF)
