CDL Driver

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible CDL Driver to join our client's team in the logistics sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring timely delivery of materials, maintaining vehicle compliance, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
• Validate directions and assist branch in pulling material.
• Drive Forklift—will be certified with client.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and ensure material is properly secured and within weight limits.
• Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature.
• Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
• Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
• Assist in warehouse as necessary and represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hold a minimum valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with at least one year of driving experience.
• Ability to perform manual labor and work Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to take direction.
• Understanding of construction/underground utility is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse duties, including loading and unloading trucks.
• Task-oriented with strong attendance record.
