We are looking for a dynamic engineer to join our team remotely from Florida and contribute to the development and productization of NextBrain Off-Prem. This is your opportunity to design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications and establish the AWS architecture and engineering standards that will drive our enterprise platform forward.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack capabilities for the NextBrain cloud platform.

Define and evolve the AWS architecture supporting NextBrain applications and services.

Develop scalable APIs and microservices for various NextBrain tools and services.

Implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.

Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Enhance application reliability, scalability, performance, and resilience.

Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI/ML teams to operationalize data and AI services.

Establish technical standards and engineering best practices for the platform.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Proficiency in Python and/or modern backend technologies.

Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular.

Extensive hands-on AWS experience, including services like ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and more.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native application architecture.

Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.

Strong understanding of application security and identity management.

Experience working in Agile product development environments.

Preferences AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer certification.

Experience with Kubernetes.

Experience implementing enterprise SSO using OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML.

Experience with AI/ML or LLM-enabled applications.

Experience building internal developer platforms or reusable application frameworks.

Experience with industrial, energy, IoT, SCADA, or operational technology environments.
