1) Serverless: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.

2) Compute: Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine.

3) Networking and Security: VPC networks, Service Perimeters, IAM, PAM, VPC Service Controls.

4) Data and Analytics: BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Firestore, Dataproc, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Cloud Composer.

5) API Management: Apigee, Cloud Endpoints.

6) Security Controls: Security Command Centre.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Extensive, demonstrable experience as a Data Architect with a track record of working with data lake and data warehouse environments specifically in the cloud

• Utilize GCP-based data platform architecture to meet enterprise data strategic goals

• Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform capabilities for driving transformation and solution delivery

• Define the methodology used to integrate data from various internal and external sources

• Support data analytics and business intelligence efforts by ensuring data accessibility and reliability through business intelligence tools.

• Overseeing DevSecOps processes, establishing principles, and implementing robust methodologies across teams or entire programs.

• Expert knowledge of modern data stack in particular Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Google BigQuery (GBQ), Airflow and DBT or similar technologies for designing data ingestion/reporting, transformations, optimisations and middleware interoperability

• Demonstrated ability to assess needs of the relevant internal teams, creatively approach solutions, decide, and influence appropriate courses of action

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms
