Computer Support Specialist Chapel Hill, NCClient seeks a Computer Support Specialist to provide support for Windows and Mac client computers and Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 servers in their corporate environment.The Successful Candidate:Must write clearly and effectively.Must have a natural inclination to follow tasks or problems through to complete and documented resolutions.Must be able to communicate technical information to all types of users in clear, easy to understand languageTasks:Process and provision incoming computers according to a role-based provisioning model.Create and maintain hardware and software inventory documents.Respond to user requests for assistance, which may include software, hardware, or network repairs/troubleshooting.Conform to and advocate for strong security principles in the workplace.Develop and produce documentation and short demonstration videos for staff training purposes.Additional tasks as assigned by Client management.Experience:At least one year of experience troubleshooting Windows and/or Mac laptops and desktops.Manual and automated software installation.Basic troubleshooting and help desk experience.Other Desired Skills/Experience:Administering Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 and/or 2012 R2.User and group management.Scripting capabilities, especially via PowerShell.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
