School Transportation Driver

Locations: Oakland, Concord, Stockton, Tracy, Sacramento, Carmichael, and Yuba City, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and compassionate School Transportation Drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation services for students. Drivers play a vital role in ensuring students arrive safely to and from school while maintaining a positive, supportive, and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, educational programs, and designated locations.
• Assist students with boarding and exiting vehicles when needed.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle environment.
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and transportation regulations.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately.
• Report incidents, accidents, safety concerns, or vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid California Class C Driver's License required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass background checks and other mandatory screenings.
• Must report to work consistently and maintain reliable attendance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students in a patient, respectful, and professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous school transportation or school bus driving experience.
• Experience working with individuals.
• Commercial driving experience.
• CDL license is a plus but not required.
• Customer service experience.
