Everyone has a voice in what we build and we expect them to use it.Job Summary: Our Software Engineers are responsible for keeping Miyou simple and making our users faster and smarter. Our challenges span many technologies, from web and mobile applications (iOS, Android) to server-side development (Java and/or Ruby). Our engineers work on small teams with people across engineering, product, and creative, building reliable, fast, responsive, and beautiful application.Skills:Experience in designing and building enterprise application services using relational databases.Deep understanding of Java, Objective-C, occasional Ruby, Python, and C++. Excellent knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and relational database programming.Thorough understanding of software architecture and object-oriented designAbility to learn quickly in a dynamic environmentQualifications:Smart – we value aptitude more than achievementDriven – most things happen bottoms-up at Miyou. Figure out what needs to be done and do it.Startup-ey – comfortable doing things yourself, working hard, OK with change.Knowledgeable – A bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is a good place to start.
