Required Skills & Qualifications:
System Engineer with experience in between 4 -8 years and strong expertise in Firmware.
Strong understanding of server hardware architecture (CPU, memory, storage, networking, firmware stack)
Knowledge of platform components and concepts such as CPLD, JBOD, and system interconnects
Understanding of in-band vs out-of-band management (BMC, Redfish, IPMI, etc.)
Experience in HW system engineering, bring-up, and validation
Knowledge of firmware / BIOS / BMC interaction and system-level debugging
Hands-on experience in data center (DC) environments
Experience supporting NPI programs (bring-up, qualification, regression testing)
Ability to handle large-scale hardware validation and test execution
Strong skills in debugging, root cause analysis, and log analysis
Experience in stress, performance, and reliability testing
Ability to work in customer-facing(OEM) / partner-facing roles
Provide ops support (DC + NPI), live issue triage, and escalation handling
Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills
Ability to work with system engineers, software teams, and program stakeholders
Proficient with PowerShell / Python script-based development for automation
Ability to build scripts for test execution, environment setup, and log analysis
Familiarity with scalable automation (multi-node / rack-level systems)
Exposure to Ansible / container-based orchestration frameworks is preferred.
