Assembler II

Assembler IIDP Professionals is seeking an Assembler II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry. Work Location: Onsite in Plymouth, MN Duration: 12 months Terms: W2 Contract Work Authorization: US Citizen Position Summary:Perform a variety of production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies. In this role, you will work from diagrams and technical drawings to build modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables using precision hand/power tools, jigs, and saws.Responsibilities:Production Assembly: Perform repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on complex electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies.Drawing Navigation: Work directly from engineering diagrams, technical drawings, and initial layouts.Quality: Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work, perform quality inspections.Re-Work: Disassemble, modify, re-work, re-assemble, and test assemblies under simulated conditions.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Active IPC J-STD-001 Certification.1–3+ years of experience in hand soldering or assembling electronic components within a manufacturing setting.Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and communicate effectively within a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years in a manufacturing environment.5+ years of experience in hand soldering, including inspection, complex re-work/repair, and utilizing various specialized soldering tools and equipment.Advanced ability to understand, interpret, and attention to detail to technical documents on electro-mechanical work.Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software and Microsoft 365 applications.Willingness to be trained to work on explosive assemblies.DP Professionals offers a range of compensation and benefits packages to our employees and their eligible dependents.
