Key responsibilities include:Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on packaging equipment, feeders, conveyors, boilers, sensors, and other critical systems.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.Operating forklifts to handle and move equipment as needed.Completing and documenting preventive maintenance schedules using technology, such as iPads, to log safety updates and work orders.Assisting with annual maintenance and responding to emergency repairs as necessary.Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.Adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.What We're Looking ForExperience and SkillsMinimum of 3+ years in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.Expertise in conveyor/packaging equipment, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and pneumatic systemsFamiliarity with tools and technology for tracking and reporting maintenance activities and work orders.Technical certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus but not required.Physical and Compliance RequirementsAbility to lift 50lbs, move, and handle equipment safely.Valid driver's license with no restrictions.Ability to pass a drug screening and pre-employment physical.Soft SkillsDetail-Oriented: High standards for quality and safety.Dependable: Strong attendance and punctuality.Proactive: Identifies and addresses potential equipment issues.Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced environment.Team-Oriented: Works collaboratively with the Operations Manager and team.Compensation and SchedulePay Rate: $27-$35 per hour, with growth potential.Position Type: Full-time, contract-to-hire.Schedule: Flexible based on production needs.What The Company OffersCareer Growth: Opportunities for professional development and advancement.Tools Provided: Access to all necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.Dynamic Environment: Work in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced facility.Collaborative Culture: A positive, team-oriented workplace where your contributions are valued.Join a leader in sustainable food manufacturing.
