MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Full Stack Engineer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of mission critical customer. You will play a crucial role in the development of a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products.

Efforts will include creating enhancements for the tool based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Full Stack Engineer Principal must have:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Security clearance level: TS/SCI W/ Poly

US citizenship required

Required technical skills include

Java 8+

C/C++

Scripting (python, bash, php)

Apache Tomcat

Elasticsearch

Oracle

Spring Boot

RESTful web services

Solr

Comfortable working in a Linux environment

Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications

Additional desired technical skills may include experience with:

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Primefaces

Quarkus

Node.js

Lex/Yacc

Basic sysadmin skills (managing cron jobs, selinux, etc.)

Agency reporting and dissemination tools

Agency classification policies

Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.
