The Role

We are adding a technically driven Application Engineer to our team. In this role you will work closely with our sales team and customers to develop innovative solutions, craft compelling proposals, and ensure successful project delivery. If you thrive at the intersection of engineering and customer engagement, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Proposals & Quoting

Receive and respond to quotation requests from the sales team and end customers, producing accurate, timely quotes.

Consult existing price lists and research cost and technical information for services and third-party products.

Technical Support

Serve as a technical liaison to the sales team, providing expertise and guidance throughout the sales process.

Deliver technical phone support to end users, resolving questions and issues efficiently.

Application Design

Collaborate with the sales team and customers to understand application needs and develop unique, tailored solutions - including site walks and face-to-face meetings as needed.

Research new components, features, and services; coordinate cross-departmental support to build viable, competitive solution plans.

Develop targeted proposals to win business, which may include creating drawings, assembling demonstration equipment, and other materials that showcase our competitive edge.

Project Management

Support cross-functional teams in delivering custom solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Proactively communicate and re-negotiate plans or proposals as needed when technical challenges or schedule changes arise..

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

Design experience including electronics, software and mechanical scope.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks needed to enter US power plants.
