AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Description

DevOps/Cloud Engineer8+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience • Strong AWS expertise, including cloud architecture and migration of on-prem applications to AWS • Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and AWS CodePipeline • Experience containerizing legacy applications using Docker and deploying to AWS ECS/Fargate • Strong understanding of source code management, version control, and DevOps best practices • Experience managing build artifacts and repositories with JFrog Artifactory • Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and release processesThis is an opportunity supporting United Airlines' cloud transformation efforts and DevOps modernization initiatives. • Design and implement scalable AWS cloud solutions • Lead application migration efforts from on-prem to AWS environments • Build and optimize infrastructure-as-code solutions • Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies • Manage containerized workloads and cloud-native application deployments • Support release management, monitoring, and operational excellence initiativesPreferred: • Previous airline or transportation industry experience • Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architectures
