Warehouse Associate

Shipping AssociateThe Shipping Associate is responsible for all aspects of preparing customer orders for timely shipment.Preparing and maintaining appropriate shipping documentation and recordsTrack and pack customer orders in proper sequence for shipmentVerify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and shipping documentation for accuracy.Utilize small cart or other hand operated equipment to move parts and product between work areasReceive finished goods from production and stage orders for shipment.Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Customer Service to meet delivery schedules.Follow all company safety, quality, and shipping procedures.QualificationsPrevious shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.Basic computer skills and experience with shipping software or ERP systems.Ability to read work orders, packing instructions, and shipping documentation.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Howmet Aerospace Inc., headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.
