Senior Software Engineer TS/SCI w/PolyAmentum is seeking an experienced senior developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale. The software engineer will work closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools to further discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, then deliver innovative solutions focused on operationalizing data science.Essential Responsibilities:Work directly with data scientists as well as mission analysts to solve the most demanding strategic problems; perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer's corporate architecture.Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Strong experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, Python PySparkStrong experience with statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentalsStrong experience with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and use of big dataProficiency with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab; experience with Agile methodologiesSecurity Clearance Required:TS/SCI PolyMinimum Years of Experience:A Doctoral degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, ora Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, ora Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, oran Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, ora High School diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with software development processes (i.e., requirements analysis, software design, implementation, testing, integration, deployment/installation, and maintenance) and programming.Experience with Data Science, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and using Large Language Models (LLMs)Compensation Details:$150000-200000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
