Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful web APIs using Node.js frameworks such as Express, Fastify, or NestJS. We build, run, and troubleshoot containerized applications with Podman, including rootless containers, pods, and Containerfiles/Dockerfiles. We plan and carry out migrations of existing containerized workloads to cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. We assess current container architectures and recommend the best cloud target based on cost, scalability, and operational needs. We integrate applications with Keycloak for authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML, including realm, client, and role setup. We parse, transform, validate, and generate XML data using XSD, XPath, and XSLT, supporting legacy and SOAP-based integrations. We secure APIs with JWT validation, role-based access control, rate limiting, and input validation. We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container image builds, scanning, and deployment. We write unit, integration, and API tests to support reliability and maintainability. We document APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and create migration runbooks and architecture diagrams. We collaborate with DevOps, security, and platform teams on deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.
