Your role:

Serve as the customer service / inside sales interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies. The effective and efficient processing of PACE inventory, all customer order transactions, and customer order inquires with minimal direct supervision. This will be accomplished by utilizing the company distribution software (P21) and the manufacturing software (M2M) along with various other software tools under the guidelines of company policies and procedures. Direct and frequent interaction with the Field Sales Representative responsible for the accounts, including joint customer visits and contract pricing and inventory management. Serve as the contact for all PACE related functions.

Position responsibilities:

Work with our largest customer to manage supply of product to support a consigned inventory program

Coordinate with internal shipping logistics department to ensure customer satisfaction is met

Coordinate with inventory control to maintain the integrity of inventory kept at the customer consigned locations

Coordinate directly with customer representatives to resolve inventory issues and ensure customer satisfaction

Perform PACE Cycle count electronically. This is typically done weekly to allow all parts to be counted up to 2 times per year. For this responsibility you will work directly with the customer and our Materials Manager

Process sales orders for parts used by the customer, which we call PACE pulls

Check price and stock per customer request, as required

Interact with Outside Sales regarding contract quotes, as required

Check Voice mail messages and respond to customers

Expedite PACE released parts that have back orders with the purchasing and production team

Create and manage the PACE back order report daily

Provide tracking information and/or proof of delivery when requested by the customer

Essential skills and experience:

2-4 years of work experience in a related field.

General knowledge of sales order processing and standard inventory practices

Good computer skills, with knowledge of Windows, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Adobe including good keyboarding skills

Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency

If you have the ability to deal with customers on phones and in person, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are dependable and a self-starter with the ability to work independently

You are required to have a High School Diploma or GED for this position. However, an Associates Degree is preferred.
