Full Stack Developer III

Software EngineerThis position will be domiciled at a FedEx Freight location in Memphis, TN. You will be required to work at a FedEx Freight Location several times per week.Position OverviewLeads the design, development and implementation of large scale and complex projects, ensures best practices in architecture, performance and security. Codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages. Mentors team members and driving technical decisions. Works cross functionally with product and business stakeholders.Essential FunctionsDesigns software code using multiple programming languages.Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performanceTests newly developed software code.Documents code per the Company’s processes.Communicates effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, user focus groups and comments, and other stakeholders.Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and is compatible with all hardware and software.Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers.Evaluate and integrate new technologies and tools.Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or directly related work experienceFive (5) years' work experience in information technology or engineering. A related advanced degree may offset some of the related work experience requirementsExpert-level knowledge of front-end and back-end frameworksDeep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong programming skillsProven computer/coding skills in multiple languagesAnalytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skillsGood presentation skills and ability to handle multiple projectsAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with professionals from a range of technical and non-technical backgroundsJob ConditionsHours may vary due to operational needPreferred Skills/KnowledgeExperience working with applications leveraging SAML, OIDC, and/or OAuth Experience with Salesforce APEX code Experience with Salesforce administration Experience with web-based applications Strong communication skills Ability to work with other development teams for troubleshooting issues Strong background in working with other teams to ensure secure coding practices are followed.
